And InDesign is a whole other bag of problems and glitches that can really put you in a bind if you're putting together a company catalog. But nope, InDesign it's the opposite, making the change completely pointless. Sure, this would have made sense in the beginning, but to change what so many people are familiar with this late in the game? Plus, you'd think they implement that with all programs. And after users become familiar with that, they decide to change it so that when you size something, holding shift changes the width and height independent of each other.
For instance, resizing in Photoshop used to require holding shift to maintain original dimensions. A ton of small things that just don't make sense. Their programs crash all the time, and are full of annoying UI issues. People who bought their products previously no longer have license to use the software they once purchased if they're not using Cloud.

If you're considering purchasing Creative Cloud, I would definitely approve that decision that you make that and get Adobe Creative Cloud. Actually, I think it's easier to use than Canva actually. Even the people I've told to get it, they were able to pick it up right away. I suppose with a background in graphics, I was used to it. I think the learning curve is very short. Getting started with Adobe Creative Cloud is super easy. And then just having their bundle with the different,` even the web creations and the video creations and the stock photography option that you can get with Creative Cloud really helps with what I have to do. I don't think there's another product out there that comes close to what Illustrator can achieve. You can't do as much with any free app as you possibly could with Adobe Photoshop. Even if you choose Canva for the free option, it's not as in-depth as Photoshop. I chose Adobe Creative Cloud because one, Photoshop, there's nothing like it.
And I was paying for all these different products, most of Adobe's Creative products, and when they introduced the Cloud, obviously I jumped on board that ship and saved a lot of money.
